The Singapore Students' Society (also known as SingSoc) was inaugurated in August 2008 with the aim of bringing together Singaporeans in La Trobe University and promoting Singapore's multicultural and diverse nation to non-Singaporeans. Our members consist of Singaporeans and friends from other parts of the world such as Australia, Sweden, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Thailand. We have since organized events such as the Singapore's National Day celebrations as well as the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations and participated in the Durian Fest organized by RMIT University.
